Honor MagicBook X specs

Despite the difference in name, both the MagicBook X 14 and the MagicBook X 15 are quite similar at first glance. They both come in an all-aluminum body, with the MagicBook X 14 measuring 15.9mm thick and weighing 1.38kg, while the MagicBook X 15 measures 16.9mm thick and weighs 1.56kg. The former has a 14-inch display while the latter has a 15.6-inch display, with both laptops using FHD IPS panels. They offer a max brightness of 250nits and cover 45% of the NTSC colour gamut with an 800:1 contrast ratio.

Under the hood, you get your choice between an Intel Core i3-1115G4 or the more powerful Core i5-1135G7 processor, with 8GB of DDR4 RAM as standard across the MagicBook X range and up to 512GB of storage available. Do note though that the Core i3 models will come with Intel UHD integrated graphics while only the Core i5 model comes with the more capable Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. You do however get Windows 11 Home out of the box as standard.

Elsewhere, there’s a 56Whr battery on the MagicBook X 14 and a 42Wh battery on the MagicBook X 15. You’ll also find a 65W USB-C charger bundled along which Honor says will be able to power up your laptop to approximately 80% in just an hour. They come with full-sized keyboards, a 720p webcam, a fingerprint sensor on the power button and stereo speakers too. For I/O, you get a HDMI port, a USB-A 2.0 port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s support for Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 connectivity too, and come in just the Space Grey colourway.
