Motorola Edge 30 Specs
In terms of design, it shares a lot of similarities with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. Upfront, the Edge 30 features a slightly smaller 6.5″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that pushes a 144Hz refresh rate and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Instead of a Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip, the non-Pro model runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chip which supports 5G connectivity.
In the camera department, the Edge 30 gets a triple-camera setup for the rear which include a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the selfie camera settles for a 32MP front camera which sits on a centre-aligned punch-hole.
Despite being RM1,100 cheaper than the Edge 30 Pro, it still features stereo speakers and support for WiFi 6E along with 5G, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. To make this smartphone as slim as possible, the battery capacity has been reduced to 4,020mAh from 4,800mAh on the Edge 30 Pro. It also supports 33W Fast Charging via USB-C, but wireless charging isn’t available.
