Oppo A96 Hardware Specs

The Oppo A96 features a 6.59″ Full HD+ (2412×1080 pixels) LCD display that’s capable of up to 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. Onboard it has 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable via microSD.

For taking pictures, it gets a rather basic dual-camera setup that consists of a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects. Upfront, the tiny punch-hole on the top left corner of the screen houses a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity, this is a dual-SIM 4G device and it has support for 802.11ac WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and it still gets a 3.5mm headphone jack. Since the A96 uses an LCD display, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that doubles as a power button and it also supports facial recognition for face unlock.

Out of the box, it runs on ColorOS 11 but there’s no mention of the Android version. Powering the device is a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB-C. According to Oppo, you can get 50% power with just 26 minutes on the cable.
