On today’s episode, we are going to talk about the new AirAsia Super Plus Pass which offers unlimited flights with Covid coverage and free food delivery. But what happens if you have a child under the age of 18? Do you need to get another pass or if it’s free entry? And also, what’s the best platform to sell your items online?
To be honest, there are just too many platforms to choose from nowadays. But personally I like using Carousell.
Even though I am not someone who sells my stuff online, I like browsing through the app because first things first, the app is super intuitive and the interface is also very neat and clean. You can look through the pictures of the product easily and you can also check the owner’s listing if you want more options from the seller. If you are interested in a product you can also ask the seller for more information or more pictures of the product before you make your purchase.
That’s my opinion on this, but if you guys have any platform that you would like to recommend please feel free to put them down in the comments section below, because I would like to know too.
The Xpax 40 offers 10GB of high-speed data and unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia. It also gets “unlimited” YouTube, Facebook and Instagram but they are capped at 3Mbps. And you dont need to access another portal to enjoy this unlimited feature, just use the official apps on your phone.
However, according to the FAQ, the “unlimited” data for YouTube, Facebook and Instagram comes with a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 150GB/month, which is about four times the average monthly data consumption per user on their network. Once you’ve hit your FUP, speeds will be reduced to 1.5Mbps for the next 100GB before it gets reduced further to 512kbps.
With the 3Mbps speed cap for the RM40 plan, Celcom says you can get 480p streaming while the higher 6Mbps speed on the RM60 plan offers video streaming in higher HD 720p quality. SMS is not included in the plan and is charged at 20 sen per message.
This new pass is actually quite similar to its previous passes, for example, the ASEAN Unlimited Pass which allows you to travel as many times as you want within Malaysia and ASEAN countries for RM599. But for the new RM639 pass, you are paying extra for the Covid coverage when you are on a flight and also “ free” food delivery when you order AirAsia food.
Besides that, the new Super+ pass will only be assigned to only one person who owns the AirAsia Member account. The generated code is only valid for booking under your name. And if you have children under the age of 18, you will also be able to get a separate Super Plus pass for them. They can get one as long as they have adult supervision.
So if you’re a family of four, you need to purchase 4 passes if you want everyone to enjoy the same benefit. If you don’t mind other members paying the full fare, you can buy their tickets separately.
