Honor MagicBook 16 specs

Right off the bat, it’s a pretty large laptop with a 16.1-inch, FHD IPS display in a standard 16:9 configuration. Despite not being a gaming laptop, the MagicBook 16 curiously features a 144Hz high refresh rate, along with 300nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. The display also comes with TUV Rheinland low blue light certification and has a screen-to-body ratio of 87.3%. Its chassis meanwhile is made of aluminum and the laptop weighs around 1.84kg.

Under the hood, the Honor MagicBook 16 packs an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, mated to 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD. There’s no dedicated graphics card though, so you’ll have to make do with the integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. Keeping all that silicon cool is a dual heatpipe and dual fan configuration. It has 56Whr battery that Honor says will last you up to 8 hours of continuous video playback, with the bundled charger able to charge it to 85% in just an hour. You’ll also find it with Windows 11 out of the box.

As for I/O, you get a HDMI 2.0 port, two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-C 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm combo audio jack, while for connectivity there’s WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The keyboard itself is backlit, while the touchpad measures 120 x 72.2mm. Other features of note include a 720p webcam, stereo speakers, a dual mic array and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button. The Honor MagicBook comes in just one colourway, namely Space Gray.
