Attention Ladies: You can get your car serviced by GoCar with a 70% discount, door-to-door service is also available

Car subscription and rental service platform GoCar introduced GoCar Garage, a car service centre back in July of 2021. The aim was to provide car owners with a hassle-free experience by offering a door-to-door delivery service. To encourage more women drivers to experience the conveniences of the service, it introduced a campaign called GoLadies back in October 2021.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2022 happening on Tuesday, 8^th March, GoCar Malaysia is bringing back its GoLadies campaign. As part of the campaign, GoCar is offering women, 70% off their 45-minute pit-stop engine oil change service.

The service package includes replacing the engine oil, oil filter and drain washer, and labour fees. It also includes a complimentary car wash and basic sanitisation. GoCar uses Total or Shell branded engine oil.

There are three packages to choose from depending on the type of engine oil your car uses. If you’re unsure of the type of engine oil your car uses, just refer to the owner’s manual.

• Mineral Oil Package – RM98 RM30
• Semi-Synthetic Oil Package – RM128 RM38
• Fully-Synthetic Oil Package – RM198 RM60

The campaign is only applicable through the GoCar mobile app and you need to be in the Klang Valley to be eligible as the app will request to use your location. You’ll need to be quick as only the first 300 customers to apply the voucher code “GOLADIES” will enjoy the promotion.

The promo code can only be redeemed once per user and is applicable between 1^st to 31^st March 2022. Once redeemed, you will need to send your car in for service by 30^th June 2022, else the voucher will expire.

If you’re wondering how GoCar is going to make sure that only women can use the voucher code, the answer is they don’t. The promotion is applicable to anyone, not just women.

There is also a free 31-point vehicle inspection thrown in. If the GoCar technician finds any issues, you will be notified and sent a price quotation for the repairs via the GoCar app. From there, you can either decide to proceed with repairs or pass on the offer. GoCar says that the transparent pricing structures can help women confidently take control of their car servicing without having to worry about hidden charges or surprise costs. 

On the appointment date, just drive your car to the service centre is located at GoCar Garage Hub in Petaling Jaya.

GoCar also has an additional service for those that can’t spare the time to drive the car to the service centre, called GoValet. Starting from RM20, a GoCar representative will collect the car from your home, office or any location designated by you, drive it to the GoCar Garage Hub, and then return the vehicle. However, GoValet is only available for the Klang Valley for the moment and within a 50km radius from the GoCar Garage in Petaling Jaya.

If you need a substitute vehicle, you can get a GoCar vehicle to use for two hours capped at RM20.

It’s important to note that if your car is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, I would recommend that you send it to the car manufacturer’s authorised service centres instead. This is to ensure that you don’t void your warranty.
