Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra makes everything great about the Note experience even better

After the successful Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series in 2020, fans of the large form factor smartphone line might’ve been disappointed to hear last year that there wasn’t another new rendition of the Galaxy Note. Meanwhile, on the rear of the device is a sleek and reimagined linear floating camera layout for its 108MP main camera, 12MP ultra wide shooter and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens on top of a 10x 10MP telephoto lens. Surrounding the camera lenses is a mirror effect to offer users a more sophisticated camera design. And all of that gets packed into a chassis that gets trendy but timeless colours, such as the classic Phantom Black or the more graceful Phantom White. For a more neutral look there’s also the Green colour scheme while those wanting a more luxurious look may prefer the Burgundy.

The other major change with the Galaxy S22 Ultra though is quite literally kept hidden from sight—in a stylus silo that is. Samsung has finally brought the S Pen to the Galaxy S series, and it gets stored in a Note-esque silo on the bottom of the device. This makes it easy to carry it around and convenient to use simply by pulling it out. And when you do use it, you’re in for a treat thanks to the ultra fast S Pen’s low 2.8ms latency. This gives it a much more natural writing and drawing experience compared to the older S Pen included with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

You’ll be able to keep track of your ideas and sync your calendar across devices with the new Samsung Notes app too, giving you a digital note-taking experience that’ll feel natural in no time.
