Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 colours revealed, the Ultra might come in one boring colour option

In the last article about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series leaks, almost everything about the soon to be released Android tablet was revealed. Well, everything except for the colours. All we knew was that the tables would come in some shade of black. However, now we know the full spectrum of colours that might be available for the Tab S8 series courtesy of a mistake over at Amazon Italy.

The eCommerce giant listed all variants for the Tab S8 for sale on their platform, presumably by accident. Though the devices couldn’t be purchased, all information regarding it was displayed clearly. The listing has since been taken down, but SamMobile managed to gather some details before that happened. However, there is nothing new to see here because the specs they got from the listing shows the same details as previous leaks.

But the biggest reveal from this accidental listing are the colour options. We can expect to see at least 3 colour options for the Tab S8 and S8+ and only 1 colour option for the S8 Ultra. However, from the leaked data, it seems that not all the colour options will be available for the 5G versions of the Tab S8 and S8+.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Wi-Fi models will be available in Silver, Rose Gold and Grey, while the 5G models will be available in Rose Gold and Grey.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+

For the larger Galaxy Tab S8+, Samsung is offering the same colour options as well with Silver, Rose Gold and Grey for the Wi-fi models. The 5G model gets Rose Gold and Grey.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will only get grey as the sole colour option. But we hope that Samsung will at least show off a brighter colour option during the official launch.

Another piece of information that was obtained about the Tab S8 Ultra is the availability of a third storage option. In previous leaks, it was mentioned that the Tab S8 Ultra will only come in 128GB or 512GB storage options, however a 256GB storage option was listed on Amazon Italy. What wasn’t listed was the amount of RAM that the 256GB storage will be paired with. So it seems that Samsung is still saving some details for Galaxy Unpacked 2022.

The rest of specifications stated in the listing is in line with the previous leaks covered. So, all three variants will come with a S Pen included and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Ultra variant is said to get the biggest AMOLED display fitted to a Galaxy Tab device at 14.6 inches.

However, like previously mentioned, this leak comes from Amazon Italy, so there is a chance that the Malaysian model might differ from these specifications.

Samsung is rumoured to launch the Galaxy Tab S8 alongside the Galaxy S22 during Galaxy Unpacked. No official date has been announced for the event just yet, but leaks indicate it will be held on the 9th February 2022 at 11pm, Malaysia time.
