GoCar offers 30% off for CNY car-sharing bookings

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year holiday season, car-sharing platform GoCar is now offering a promo where you can get 30% off on new bookings. This is applicable for round trips for bookings made from now until 11th February 2022.

According to GoCar, you can book a car from as low as RM68/day which comes with unlimited mileage. To enjoy the discount, just enter “GOHUAT” on the payment details page. Take note that the 30% discount offer requires you to book a minimum of 3 days and the discount is capped at RM80. Each user is only eligible to use the promo code once during the campaign period.

GoCar is open to all drivers aged 18 years old and above including P-License holders. If you’re new to the platform, there’s a one-time membership fee of RM20 which will be charged during your first booking. The GoCar app which is available on both iOS and Android currently accepts credit and debit card payments, online banking, and eWallets such as Grab, Boost and TNG eWallet.

If this is your first time using GoCar, a 3-day booking for a Renault Captur would cost you RM420.92 inclusive of Premium Flex and a Lite CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance. Premium Flex is a RM5 add-on that allows you to make unlimited date and time changes with the option to refund without extra fees. A Proton Saga with the same booking arrangement will cost you RM234.23 while a Nissan Almera will cost you RM353.44. Besides these vehicles, GoCar also offers the Perodua Axia, Perodua Bezza, Honda City, Toyota Vios, Nissan Serena S-Hybrid and Proton Persona on its fleet.

In case you missed it, GoCar has also added Nissan Leaf EVs to its car-sharing platform. With this promo, a 3-day booking with cost you RM743.12. If you want to try the EV on a shorter booking period, you can get 25% off for the Nissan Leaf with the promo code TRYGOEV which is valid until 31st January 2022.
