Elon Musk reveals Tesla’s cheapest product yet: The limited edition Cyberwhistle

Elon Musk is no stranger to getting in with the memes and making some cool and funny, if eccentric products like the time his Boring Company started selling flamethrowers. This time though, it’s perhaps a little tamer in comparison as he tweets out Tesla’s newest product: the Cyberwhistle.

The Cyberwhistle is very much inspired by Tesla’s upcoming futuristic Cybertruck vehicle. On it’s product page, it says that the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a ‘premium collectible’, made using ‘medical grade stainless steel with a polished finish’. It goes on to add that it comes with an ‘integrated attachment feature for added versatility, which pretty much sounds like it’ll come with a lanyard attached so that you can hang it over your neck. The Cyberwhistle isn’t exactly cheap either, priced at USD50 (~RM210.22).

Elon wasn’t done yet either following the reveal of the Cyberwhistle. He also threw shade to Apple, telling his fan base to not waste money on the much-derided RM99 Apple Polishing Cloth, and to instead buy Tesla’s whistle instead.

And yet incredibly, perhaps as a sign of how popular Elon is on Twitter among the Tesla fanboys, the Tesla Cyberwhistle is sold out on the Tesla website. That’s right, people actually paid money for the gaudy looking whistle. I guess in some respects, it could be worth something as a collector’s item, or even just for automotive fans who weren’t planning on actually buying the real Tesla Cybertruck. The latter by the way is still yet to be officially available, with the all-electric truck only arriving next year, though pre-orders are available now.

As for the Cyberwhistle, while you can’t buy it anymore, if you’d still like to check it out, you can do so by heading over to the Tesla website.
