Every year, the company Certiport organises the Adobe Certified Associate World Championship, a global competition built to test the design skills of students around the world with Adobe’s suit of tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. This year, it was held as an online competition, and coming out on top was Malaysia’s own Danny Tse Wei Chun. More details here.

Celcom-Digi merger now in the hands of MCMC

It’s been two and a half years since Digi and Celcom first announced their intention to merge and become Malaysia’s largest mobile operator, but after a number of stumbling blocks which saw the original attempt fail before being revived in April this year, along with concerns over a potential monopoly, the two have finally formally submitted their application for the merger to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Petronas and Mercedes are bringing DC fast EV chargers to stations by H1 2022

The adoption of EV in Malaysia is steadily progressing. Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB), Petronas’ downstream retailer subsidiary, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mercedes-BenzMalaysia and EV Connection (EVC) to deploy DC fast EV chargers in Petronas stations by H1 of 2022. EV Connection is the operator of JomCharge, an EV charging network in Malaysia. For more information, click here.
