A former home of James Bond author, Ian Fleming, is available to book on Airbnb. But before you start packing your bags, the luxurious villa is located in Jamaica—and it costs RM43,963 per night to stay in.
“To mark the release of the 25th installment of Britain’s most beloved spy franchise, aspiring secret agents can live the life of luxury espionage,” said Airbnb in their press release.
The Airbnb listing is called Fleming Villa, and it’s considered one of the luxury options on the platform. It boasts picturesque views of the Caribbean Sea, and sits along the beachfront of GoldenEye Resort. The resort’s amenities include tennis, yoga, and watersport equipment. The villa is also equipped with its own private butler service and a personal chef, so you know Airbnb really means it when they say it’s a luxury listing.
The villa doesn’t also just include the main villa, it also includes a pool house and a “Sweet Spot Cottage”. The pool house itself has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone bathtub, an outdoor rain shower, dual vanity, a television, a terrace, and a desk—and that alone is fancier than most Airbnb listings I’ve been to. The Cottage also includes basically the same amenities.
The Main House, however, has three rooms including the Master Bedroom. All three of them have their own separate ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and outdoor tubs. The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed, while the other rooms have smaller beds—but they’re still pretty luxurious.
Overall, Fleming Villa fits 10 guests, with 5 bedrooms, 6 beds, and 6 bathrooms. You can book it, or simply check it out, on Airbnb. So, if you’re planning to visit Oracabessa, Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica with 9 other friends and family, you could “live the Bond life” for a bit here.
Malaysia has only allowed us to travel interstate for now, but hopefully, international borders would open up again next year. If Jamaica is at the top of your travel list, you have some time right now to save up the money for the listing.
