Dreame, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem focusing on high-end cleaning appliances, has launched the H11 and H11 Max Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaners in Malaysia. Could these mop slash vacuum cleaners be legitimate competitors to the Dyson line of vacuum cleaners?
“Mopping will never be the same with the Dreame H11 series vacuum cleaners. The Dreame H11 Series reinvents mopping from a chore to just another simple task to complete. In celebrating this launch, we will be offering the H11 Series at an attractive introductory price so that everyone can experience these amazing products,” he said.

Both the H11 and the H11 Max have a two-tank design, which helps separate the 900ml tank with fresh water and cleaning solution from the 500ml tank that would contain dirt and used water from the brush. This ensures that its roller brush stays clean while cleaning floors.
While it’s cleaning your floors, the roller brush itself is automatically rinsed and scraped clean. But for a more thorough clean, there is a one-press button self-cleaning mode—all you need to do is to return the vacuum to its charging base and press the button so that you don’t have to clean it yourselves with your own hands.
The H11 series has an intuitive LED screen display and intelligent voice prompts to provide some guidance while you’re cleaning. They also boast “high maneuverability, a lightweight build, and assisted pushing power to glide across the floor with minimum effort”.
The major differences between the H11 and the H11 Max are that the H11 has a shorter 30 minute runtime when it’s fully charged, and that it’s missing Auto Mode Dirt Detection. It also has a suction power of 5500 Pa, and it’s white in colour.

As for the H11 Max Vacuum Cleaner, its runtime is a full 6 minute longer than the H11—at 36 minutes after it’s been fully charged. It also has a stronger suction power of 10,000 Pa, and it’s dark grey in colour.
But the addition of Auto Mode Dirt Detection means that it can automatically adjust suction levels based on the degree of mess, judged by the vacuum’s sensors. The Max Vacuum Cleaner is also recommended for larger homes because of its “larger battery capacity of 6 x 4,000mAh”. The H11 has a smaller 6 x 2,500mAh battery capacity.
The Dreame H11 series can be used as both an effective mop and a vacuum cleaner, and it seems like a pretty enticing alternative to the Dyson lineup of vacuum cleaners. It doesn’t seem like Dyson has their own brand of wet and dry vacuum cleaners, but they do have several extra features that would warrant their higher price range.
As for the Dreame vacuums, the H11 retails at RM1,999 while the H11 Max retails at RM2,499. However, you can purchase them for cheaper on Shopee—as the H11 currently costs RM1,388 while the Max costs RM1,788. But they’re at limited stock.
