Poco M4 Pro 5G supports 33W fast charging and it could be a rebadged Redmi Note 11

Poco is launching the M4 Pro 5G next week and this will be their new budget 5G phone which will succeed the current Poco M3 Pro 5G. Ahead of the launch event, Poco has dropped a couple of teasers which confirms several details of its hardware.

In one of their tweets which shows an underground metro station, Poco has hidden “6nm” in two suspended signs. This refers to the processor’s fabrication process and it lines up with the earlier speculation that the new phone will run on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810. As a comparison, the current Poco M3 Pro 5G is running on a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700.

In the next teaser, Poco has hinted that the new phone will feature “Pro fast charging” that pushes an output of 33W. Although this isn’t groundbreaking for most mid-range smartphones, it is still a significant upgrade from the current 18W fast charging on the Poco M3 Pro 5G.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is launching on the 9th of November at 8pm Malaysian time. You can watch it live on Poco’s official Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts.

Redmi Note 11 for China

The upcoming Poco phone is speculated to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11 that was recently launched in China. It features a 6.6″ Full HD+ IPS display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate and it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip. It also features a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Redmi Note 11 also gets a 5,000mAh battery and it supports 33W fast charging via USB-C.
