PLUS deploys RFID with Automated Number Plate Recognition! | ICYMI #574

During the tabling of Budget 2022, our Finance Minister has announced that students from B40 families studying in institutes of higher learning (IPT) will receive a tablet under the PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia initiative. He also announced the eStart programme, which will provide RM150 eWallet credit to youths. In other news, PLUS has deployed RFID with Automated Number Plate Recognition with an Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) toll payment system on its highways.

PLUS deploys RFID with Automated Number Plate Recognition, works with higher speed than SmartTAG

Plus Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has announced that it’s deploying RFID with an Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) toll payment system on its highways. 2 million youths to receive RM150 eWallet credit

To promote a cashless society, Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul has announced the eStart programme, which will provide RM150 eWallet credit to youths. A total of RM300 million will be allocated under Budget 2022. Click here to find out more.

Full tax exemption for electric vehicles, RM2,500 personal tax relief for EV charging facilities

To promote the usage of energy-efficient vehicles with low carbon emissions, the Malaysian government has revealed several incentives including a full tax exemption for the purchase of electric vehicles.
