Investigative journalism organisation ProPublica just released a report about how much WhatsApp’s moderators can see and what WhatsApp does with that information.
WhatsApp still has end-to-end encryption, but moderators can see the last five messages in the thread if content has been reported. They can also see users’ phone numbers, profile photos, status messages, and IP addresses. Learn more about it here.
