It’s almost Merdeka, and apart from Malaysians feeling more patriotic, there’s also a number of promotions going about. Hotlink is one of the telcos running a new Merdeka campaign right now.
They’ll will be running a special Hotlink Reward Points promotion right now until the 30th of September. For every credit top-up done via the Hotlink app, you can earn these Hotlink Reward Points, which in turn can be used to redeem prizes and vouchers from places like Burger King, Lazada, Grabfood and others. You can top-up using direct banking or an eWallet like Boost or Touch ‘n Go. Simply launch the Hotlink App, select ‘Top Up’ and pick your top up method and amount.
For reloads below RM10, you’ll get 5 Hotlink Reward Points, while if you reload an amount between RM10 and RM30, you can get 25 points. But if you reload RM30 or more, you get 50 points, double of the previous tier. You’ll want to use them quick though, as these points are refreshed at the end of the month, so you may want to redeem it before they get wiped out.
Furthermore, if you do buy an eVoucher from the Hotlink Rewards catalogue from now till the 17th of September, you’ll stand a chance to win an Apple iPhone 12 or a Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. There’s 16 units of each smartphone up for grabs, for a total of 32 units. If you redeem a voucher priced below RM10, you’ll get one entry into the contest, while vouchers priced above RM10 get you two entries.
