Pricing and availability

The new Oppo A16 with 4GB RAM and 64GB is now offered for RM649 and it is available in Pearl Blue and Space Silver. It’s available right now on the official Oppo store on Shopee and Lazada.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, the 3GB RAM and 32GB model is priced at RM549 but you can get it now for RM529 on both Shopee and Oppo’s online store. The lower-spec variant is available in Crystal Black and Space Silver.

Hardware Specs

The Oppo A16 comes with a 6.52″ HD+ (1600×720 pixels) LCD display and it runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a choice of 32GB or 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage which is expandable via microSD.

For taking pictures, it gets a modest triple-camera setup that consists of a 13MP f/2.2 main camera, 2MP f/2.4 macro camera and a 2MP f/2.4 mono shooter for depth effects. Upfront, the tiny notch houses an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAH battery that charges via USB-C. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 skin on top.
