Responding to allegations that factories are the main contributor of new cases, Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said it is untrue as most cases are now sporadic. He said based on the Ministry of Health’s data, 25% of new cases are from clusters and 75% are sporadic.
He added that positive cases recorded from the manufacturing sector and factories are only between 5-10% only and it isn’t right to place the blame on the economic sector.
