Asus Malaysia has announced two new laptops available locally with OLED displays: the creator-focused ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and the ZenBook 13 OLED, the world’s lightest 13-inch OLED laptop according to Asus.
It’s easy to spot the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED’s signature feature – it’s double display setup. The main display is a 15.6-inch OLED display with a 4K resolution, with a 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut as well as support for 4096-pressure level stylus. Its secondary screen meanwhile is a 14.09-inch UHD touch display that Asus is calling the ScreenPad Plus.
As for its internals, being a creator-focused laptop it packs some hefty specs. For the processor, the top spec model comes with an Intel Core i9-10980HK, and that’s paired with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 mobile in the graphics department. There’s also 32GB of RAM and 1TB of NVMe storage onboard.
Other features of note include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, support for Windows Hello as well as an array mic for Cortana and Alexa voice-recognition. The ZenBook 15 Pro Duo 15 OLED comes with a massive 92Wh battery. In terms of ports, it has 2x Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, 1x USB 3.1 port, 1x HDMI 2.1 and 1x 3.5mm audio jack.
The long-running ZenBook Classic series now has a member with an OLED display in the ZenBook 13 OLED. Designed to be light and portable, it weighs just 1.14kg.
It’s 13.3-inch FHD OLED display has a peak brightness of 400nits, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Under the hood, it can come with up to an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, and has Intel Iris Xe Graphics along with it. The ZenBook 13 OLED will also have 8GB of 4266MHz LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB NVMe storage.
In terms of I/O and connectivity, the ZenBook 13 OLED has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support, as well as 2x Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, 1x USB 3.2 port, 1x HDMI port and 1x MicroSD card slot. There’s support for Windows Hello too.
The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED will be available from 7th June onwards in two variants:
ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED with Core i9-10980HK – RM 15,999
ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED with Core i7-10870H – RM 12,999
As for the ZenBook 13 OLED, it too will be available from 7th June onwards in two colourways: Lilac Mist and Pine Grey. You can opt between two processors underneath the hood too:
ZenBook 13 OLED with Core i7-1165G7 – RM 4,999
ZenBook 13 OLED with Core i5-1135G7 – RM 4,299
