Malaysia has recorded 3,780 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 470,110. There are 36 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,902.
The Ministry of Health has reported 3,990 new recoveries and a total of 426,319 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 90.69% while the mortality rate at 0.40%.
There are currently 41,889 active cases remaining that are receiving treatment. 520 are in ICU while 262 require respiratory support.
Out of the 3,780 new cases today, 2 are imported while 3,778 are transmitted locally. Selangor recorded the most with 1,275 cases, followed by Sarawak with 405 cases, Kedah with 363 cases and Kelantan with 357 cases.
A total of 11 new clusters have been identified today and 4 of them are education-related. Below is the full list of new clusters:
