COVID-19: 4,113 new cases and 34 deaths reported today, Selangor tops the list with 1,269 new cases

Malaysia has recorded 4,113 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 462,190. There are 34 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,822.

There are 4,190 new recoveries and a total of 418,897 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is currently at 90.63% while the mortality rate has risen slightly to 0.40%.

There are currently 41,471 active cases remaining that are receiving treatment. 482 are in ICU while 250 require respiratory support.

Out of the 4,113 new cases reported today, one is imported while the remaining 4,112 cases were transmitted locally. According to the breakdown, Selangor recorded the most with 1,269 new cases, followed by Sarawak with 533 cases, Kelantan with 371 cases and Johor with 335 cases.
