[UPDATE]Digi faces network interruption, mobile data connectivity affected

[ UPDATE 4/5/2021 2350 ] Digi has resolved the service interruption issue. Below is their official statement:

We wish to inform that at approximately 7:30pm today, we were alerted of some network issues which had caused intermittent data service disruptions. Our 24-Hour Response Team worked promptly to identify and resolve the issues, resulting in service recovery within slightly more than one hour. We humbly apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused, and thank them for their patience and understanding.

It appears that Digi users throughout the country are experiencing a major service disruption this evening. Several users have complained on social media about not being able to get internet access on their Digi line.

Digi has admitted that they are having an unplanned service interruption and their network is currently unavailable. The yellow telco is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Subscribers are also urged to restart their phones from time to time.
