Malaysia has recorded 1,327 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 333,040. There are 4 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,233.
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,247 new recoveries and a total of 317,289 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 95.27% while the mortality rate remains at 0.37%.
There are currently 14,518 active cases remaining which are receiving treatment. 154 are in ICU while 65 require respiratory support.
Out of the 1,327 new cases today, 11 are imported while 1,316 are transmitted locally. Selangor recorded the most with 356 cases, followed by Sarawak with 276 cases, Pulau Pinang with 205 cases and Johor with 141 cases.
