eBelia eWallet credit now increased to RM150, to benefit 2 million youths
Apart from increasing the subsidy for new phone purchases, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has announced an increase in budget allocation for the eBelia program. Touch ‘n Go eWallet now supports DuitNow QR
Touch ‘n Go eWallet now supports DuitNow QR, the national QR code standard. This would enable its eWallet users to pay at more merchant touch points that display the pink DuitNow QR code that’s issued by other bank and eWallet providers. Details here.

New phone subsidy increased from RM180 to RM300, to start in May
The Program Jaringan Prihatin programme which offers RM180 subsidyfor the purchase of new phones or telco credit has been revised under the new PEMERKASA plan. According to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, Jaringan Prihatin has been revised to offer a higher RM300 subsidy for the purchase of new smartphones and it will be offered to households with school-going children.
