KTM Komuter announced that they are letting bicycle riders bring their bikes into their commuters for a RM2 fee. However, there are some terms and conditions that bikers would need to take note.
If you have a foldable bicycle, you’re allowed to bring them into KTM Komuter coaches at any time and every day—including on weekends and public holidays. Whereas if you have a regular bicycle, the times are a little more strict as they take up more space in the commuter coaches.
You’re able to bring regular bicycles in every day, but you’re only allowed to bring your bike in from 9.30am – 4pm and 8pm – 12.30am on the weekdays. On weekends and public holidays, you’re allowed to bring your bikes in from 5.30am – 11am and 8pm – 12.30am.
You’re able to bring both foldable bicycles and regular bicycles on the commuter. On weekdays, you’re able to bring them in anytime. But on weekends, you’re only able to bring your bikes in from 5.30am – 11am and 8pm – 12.30am.
The minimum fee stated by KTM Komuter is the RM2 “promotional fee”, and it should be paid at the counter before getting through the entrance area. The RM2 fee doesn’t include the train ticket fare you need to pay normally. The regular ticket fares are available to be purchased online.
You can find KTM Komuter’s current schedule here. And starting 5 to 18 March 2021, their Ekpress Rakyat Timuran (ERT) and Ekpress Selatan (ES) services will be back in operation. You can click here for more information.
