Socar: Get 50% off for unlimited car bookings with ‘So Jimat’, priced from RM108/week

With interstate travel restrictions being lifted, Socar is now offering a special promo that provides substantial savings for its car sharing service. Whether you’re planning to book a car to run errands or use it for a long road trip, they have just introduced its So Jimat bundles that offer unlimited 50% discount for a fixed duration.

So Jimat is available in two options – Weekly bundle at RM108/week or a monthly bundle at RM288/month. You can purchase the bundles from today, 16th December until the 21st of December 2020.

While you can enjoy 50% off for unlimited times during the validity period, take note that there’s a discount cap of RM100 per booking and it’s only applicable to the rental fee. You can use it for all car models on the platform including the BMW 330e, Mini Cooper JCW, Hyundai Santa Fe and the Volkswagen Tiguan.

If you’re interested, you will have to fill up a web form and enter your registered mobile number and email that’s linked to your account. Your order will be verified within 24 hours and they will charge it to your saved credit or debit card. Unfortunately, you can’t use GrabPay to pay for the So Jimat bundle.

In addition, Socar appears to be introducing a yearly So Jimat bundle that comes with a different discount percentage. According to their Facebook teaser, the new bundle will be revealed tomorrow.
