Deal: Poco M3 can be yours for only RM499 on 27 November in Malaysia

The Poco M3 is now official and this is the company’s new entry-level smartphone that’s priced under RM700. The device will go on sale in Malaysia starting this Friday, the 27th of November 2020 and Poco is offering additional RM100 off plus freebies for a limited time.

To recap, the Poco M3 is officially priced at RM599 for the 64GB model and RM699 for the 128GB variant. During its first day sale, the 64GB model can be yours for only RM499 while the 128GB version is offered for RM599. If you’re quick enough, the Xiaomi-backed brand is offering a pair of wired in-ear headphones for free during the first two hours.

The early bird offer for the M3 will be available on the Xiaomi official global store on Lazada Malaysia. The device is only offered in Power Black and Cool Blue.

Hardware Specs

The Poco M3 features a 6.53″ Full HD+ display and it runs on a Snapdragon 662 processor. The device only comes with 4GB of RAM with a choice of either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage. If you need more, you can insert a microSD card via its dedicated expansion slot.

For taking photos, it gets a basic triple-camera setup featuring a 48MP camera and two 2MP shooters for macro and depth effects. In front, the tiny notch on the display houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

Keeping the lights on is a huge 6,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast-charging via USB-C. Also retained is a 3.5mm headphone jack and it also comes with an IR blaster. Despite being a budget phone, the M3 still gets a pair of stereo speakers similar to its more expensive Poco X3 NFC.

In terms of connectivity, this is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device and it supports 5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. Interestingly, the M3 is shipped with a 22.5W charger but it only supports up to 18W fast charging. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 for Poco skin on top.
