Realme Malaysia will soon introduce its next smartwatch which is a step above its budget Realme Watch. From the teaser, this appears to be the Realme Watch S which was released earlier in other markets including Europe.

Realme hasn’t provided any pricing and availability details for the Malaysian market. We reckon that it is likely to be introduced alongside the Realme C15 which will be unveiled tomorrow, 24th November at 12pm.

Realme Watch S

In Europe, the Realme Watch S is officially priced at EUR 79.99 (about RM388) but we expect it to be priced lower when it goes on sale in Malaysia. In terms of specs, the Watch S come with a 1.3″ colour display that pushes 360×360 pixels resolution and it boasts a battery life of up to 15 days in a single charge.

The Watch S supports fitness tracking of 16 sports mode and it also offers real-time heart rate monitoring along with blood oxygen monitoring. Apart from displaying app notifications, you can also control your music playback and your phone’s camera remotely from your wrist. To access the watch features and health information on your phone, you’ll need to install the Realme Link app which is currently only available for Android devices.

The Realme Watch S uses an aluminium alloy case while the screen is said to be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. There’s also IP68 water resistance, 3-axis accelerometer but unfortunately, there’s no built-in GPS. The watch uses a 22mm wrist strap is user replaceable.

If you’re looking for an affordable smartwatch priced under RM300, the Honor Watch Magic is now going for only RM299 with the current Payday promo. It comes with built-in GPS but the battery life is shorter at up to 7 days per charge.
