You can now have access to every new emoji in the Apple iOS 14.2 update. These new emojis include the highly anticipated boba tea emoji, along with 116 other new ones. It’s also revealed that some of the newest emojis include gender-inclusive ones—including men with veils and women with tuxedos for weddings.
I’ve previously covered what emojis would appear for the new update. The most notable ones (besides the boba one) that were revealed included the pinched fingers emoji, the anatomical heart, and the trans flag emoji.
It was also teased that more gender-inclusive options would appear, and they really delivered. You can now get extended versions of the bride and groom emojis—which not only includes women with tuxedos and men with veils, but non-binary person with veils and tuxedos.
There are also really cool additions like more variations of baby caring emojis. Previously, there are only variations of moms caring for babies. This time, there are dads and non-binary persons.
Santa emojis is also getting a non-binary addition. Previously, you’d only get Santa and Mrs. Claus, but now you can use a non-binary Santa emoji, in time for the upcoming Christmas holidays.
Besides new gender-inclusive emojis, there are also emojis for bell pepper, roller skates, a tombstone, a weird one where a piece of cheese is under a trap, a bucket, the act of hugging, and a dodo bird. You can find all new emojis here.
