Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul has announced the Program Save 2.0 which encourages the use of energy efficient home appliances. RM30 million will be allocated from Budget 2021 for the program.
According to the Minister, the program will provide a RM200 eRebate for households to purchase locally manufactured air-conditioner and refrigerator that are energy efficient. The initiative is expected to benefit a total of 140,000 households.
