GoCar Subs has revamp its car subscription structure with streamlined prices across each category. To increase its reach, GoCar is now also available on Shopee.

GoCar Subs has regrouped its fleet into 5 categories – Cheap, Base, Plus, Expat and Luxe. The “cheap” category is priced from RM999/month and it covers national cars like Proton and Perodua. The “Base” category which costs from RM1,099/month includes vehicles such as the Honda City, Toyota Vios and Toyota Avanza. Meanwhile, “Plus” offer mid-sized vehicles such as the Nissan Serena, Toyota Altis and Honda HR-V, from RM1,299/month.

The “Expat” option which costs from RM1,799/month offers larger options which include the Toyota Camry Hybrid, Honda CR-V, Honda CX-5 and Toyota Estima. For a more premium selection, the “Luxe” category priced from RM2,299/month offers vehicles such as the Mini Cooper, Mini Countryman, Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 and Toyota Mark X.

The annual subscription is available in 12, 24 and 36-month options, and you can also subscribe with a shorter weekly and month-to-month basis. To discover their fleet, you can now browse through the available options via the official GoCar Malaysia mall on Shopee.

Similar to Flux, GoCar Subs now offers the freedom to swap to any cars in their lineup. This is offered for subscribers who are on a 12, 24 or 36-month subscription. To swap a car, you’ll need to be on a subscription for at least 3 months and it will cost you a one-time fee of RM250. You can choose to swap up or swap down, and the subscription fee will be adjusted accordingly. According to GoCar, you are only allowed to perform a maximum of two swaps per year. This means you can get to drive up to 3 different cars per annum.

As a special introductory promo on Shopee, GoCar Subs is offering the Nissan Almera on a weekly subscription for only RM299 instead of the usual price of RM499. There’s also a monthly subscription promo where you can drive it for RM599 instead of RM1,699.

From now until 31st December, new GoCar Subs customers can enjoy more savings with its NEW2SUBS promo. With this campaign, those that sign up for an annual subscription can get the first month free and 50% off for the 2nd and 3rd month of subscription. On top of that, the monthly mileage is also upgraded from 1,650km to 2,500km and GoCar is also waiving the swap fee for the first year.

As usual, the monthly subscription fee includes insurance, road tax, regular service and maintenance. This allows subscribers to get a car hassle-free without worrying about hefty down payments and car loan application. The GoCar subscription is open to all Malaysian citizens as well as residents that have a valid international driving permit. To sign up, new subscribers will have to submit a copy of their driving license, IC or passport, 3 months salary slip, EPF statement and 3 month bank statement.

For more info, you can visit GoCar Subs’ website.
