Proton X50: Stand a chance to win Proton’s new SUV for only RM1

The Proton X50 will launch tomorrow and Shopee is now offering you a chance to drive one home for only RM1. The new compact SUV is the latest item to be offered on Shopee’s RM1 One or Not lucky draw campaign.

To be in the running, just “purchase” a chance to win for RM1 using ShopeePay. Only 1 participation is allowed per account and the campaign will be running from the 26th October to 11th November 2020. There’s only 1 unit of Proton X50 to be given away but there’s no mention of which variant they are offering. According to the listing, the car is valued at RM120,000.

According to Shopee, the winner will be announced at 12PM on the 12th of November 2020. For those who are not selected, you will get 100% refund for your RM1 purchase. It is stated that the refund will be credited to the user’s ShopeePay Wallet within 5 working days.

The T&C also states that Shopee will cover the cost of the car inclusive of 1-year road tax, registration fee, 1st year insurance (up to RM2,800) and number plate. If the winner is not contactable within 48 hours after the announcement, the car will be forfeited. Unlike your typical eCommerce purchase, there’s no free delivery and the car buyer will have to collect the car from the dealership.
