Just hours before Apple unveils its iPhone 12 series, serial leakster Evan Blass has just shared high-resolution images for the entire lineup. This includes the “affordable” iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12, as well as the top-of-the-line iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 and 12 mini are shown with 5 colour options including white, black, blue, green and red. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro range is shown in 4 options namely Blue, Gold, Graphite and Silver. It appears that blue is the new unique colour option similar to last year’s midnight green for the iPhone 11 Pro series.
As expected, the lower two models come with a dual-camera setup which is likely to retain a main and an ultra-wide angle shooter. Meanwhile, the Pro models retain a triple-camera setup but there’s an extra LiDAR sensor that could be used for AR experiences.
While most smartphone makers have moved on to punch-holes and pop-up cameras, Apple is still retaining its wide notch but it appears to be slightly narrower on the Pro models. If you look closely at the sides, the new lineup gets a flat edge just like the older iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. This design appears to help reduce its overall width although the bezels are still quite noticeable. You can view all colours available through Evan’s page on voice.com.
The iPhone 12 launch event is happening at 1am (MYT) on 14th October 2020. Last year, the iPhone 11 series was released in Malaysia a week after first wave countries. If Apple continues this trend, Malaysians might be able to purchase the iPhone 12 by the end of this month. Maxis has recently dropped a teaser that the iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order very soon and it will be offered in 4 models.
