Android 11 has been officially available on the Pixel series for awhile now, while OEMs like OnePlus and Xiaomi have been trialling Android 11-based skins via beta programs with the aim of a timely official release. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Android 11-based One UI 3.0 is being beta tested in Korea and the U.S., with an official update expected sometime towards the end of 2020.
So, how do you know if your device will support Android 11? Samsung hasn’t released an official list just yet, although if your device is compatible with the public beta program, the official update will (obviously) be supported on your mobile device. However, the folks over at Sammyfans have compiled a list of Galaxy devices that they think will support One UI 3.0.
How? By holding Samsung to a promise that they made recently to support select Galaxy devices with three Android OS updates. According to the report, “flagship” smartphones launched with Android 9 or later will support three additional Android OS updates—although it’s worth noting that Samsung’s official statement does not confirm Sammyfans’ entire list.
Still, it’s worth a look:

Samsung Galaxy M-series:

From what we know, One UI 3.0 has a similar look to One UI 2.5, although there are a bunch of new gestures that you can use, along with Android 11’s native upgrades. Lock screen widgets have supposedly been improved, while accessibility to Smart Home devices should be more convenient as a whole.
So, what do you think? Let us know if you’re a beta tester for One UI 3.0—and share some of your experiences with us in the comments section below.
