Malaysians will have to pay slightly more for petrol for the coming week while the price for Diesel has declined slightly. From midnight tonight, RON 95 and RON97 petrol are up by 3 sen per litre while Diesel is down by 1 sen per litre.
Below are the fuel prices for the period between 3rd to 9th October 2020:
RON95 – RM1.71/litre (+3sen)
RON97 – RM2.01/litre (+3 sen)
Diesel – RM1.70/litre (-1 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.80/litre (-1 sen)
The price of fuel in Malaysia is calculated based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM). According to the Ministry of Finance, the adjustments in fuel prices reflect the changes in the pricing of refined oil products in line with the current global crude oil prices.
