Fuel prices in Malaysia continue to fall for the third consecutive week. Petrol is down by 3 sen per litre while Diesel drops further at 5 sen per litre for the coming week.
Below are the fuel prices for the period between 19th to 25th September 2020:
RON95 – RM1.63/litre (-3 sen)
RON97 – RM1.93/litre (-3 sen)
Diesel – RM1.67/litre (-5 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.77/litre (-5 sen)
The price of fuel in Malaysia is calculated based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM). According to the Ministry of Finance, the adjustments in fuel prices reflect the changes in the pricing of refined oil products in line with the current global crude oil prices.
