This is Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, available in 6 colours

If you’re looking for a more affordable Samsung Galaxy S20, the Korean smartphone maker will soon introduce a Fan Edition. This is expected to be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. The high-resolution press renders were shared by serial leakster Evan Blass through his Patreon account.

Similar to what was leaked earlier, the Galaxy S20 FE will feature a flat screen and it still gets a curved back. There’s also a huge camera bump but it looks slightly skinnier than what you get on the current S20 and Note 20 series. As revealed by Evan, the S20 FE will come in 6 colours which include striking red, orange, green and purple.

In terms of specs, the screen is said to be somewhere between 6.4-6.5 inches and it can push 120Hz refresh rate with a resolution of at least Full HD+. Under the hood, it is speculated to run on either a Snapdragon 865 or an Exynos 990 with up to 8GB of RAM.

The punch-hole on the display houses a 32MP selfie camera, similar to the current S10 Lite. The rear has a triple-camera array that consists of a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto shooter that does 3x optical zoom.

Powering the device is said to be a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. Unfortunately, the S20 FE appears to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack but it could feature IP68 dust and water resistance. Samsung is expected to release the S20 FE in South Korea sometime in October and many fans would definitely prefer the Snapdragon variant if it comes to Malaysia.
