Here’s everything you need to know about the awesome goodies you get for pre-ordering the Note 20

This post is brought to you by Samsung Malaysia.

The Samsung Galaxy Note20 series is one of the biggest smartphone launches of the year. And with their biggest smartphone launch, the company is also including a bunch of awesome promotions and gifts for the die-hard Note fans who pre-order. But, what exactly are you getting?

That’s what this article is here to help with. Today, we’ll be going through all the gifts that you could potentially get when you pre-order a brand new Galaxy Note 20 series phone, and tell you what they are and how they work.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live

When you pre-order a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G from Samsung, you’ll be getting a pair of their latest truly wireless in-ear headphones, the Galaxy Buds Live. These hard-tipped in-ear headphones retail for RM699 and are the latest addition to the Buds roster.

With the new headphones, you’re getting the long sought-after inclusion of active noise cancellation (ANC), plus an ergonomic design that provides a comfortable and secure fit. Unlike most earbuds, Galaxy Buds Live sits softly inside the ear, giving you a more comfortable, secure fit with less fatigue.

The Buds Live use a 12mm speaker that pipes audio through a small duct along the body of the headphones before it gets piped into your ear. This, alongside the strategically placed vents, is designed to improve the audio quality.

What’s more, the headphones have a battery life of 8 hours by themselves, but if you include the case, these headphones will be able to last up to 29 hours which is mighty impressive considering the size of the case.

If you’re someone who has trouble with soft-tipped headphones, or find them uncomfortable in your ear, the Galaxy Buds Live are a good alternative that you should consider instead.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+

If you pre-order a brand new Galaxy Note20 or Note20 5G from Samsung, you will receive a pair of Galaxy Buds+ worth RM599 instead. These are the company’s latest soft-tipped in-ear truly wireless headphones and they represent a marked improvement over the original Galaxy Buds.

These have a more detailed sound and the same comfortable fit as the original Galaxy Buds. Somehow, Samsung managed to fit a tweeter and woofer setup into the Buds+ without changing the size or shape of the earbuds which is super impressive. However, the biggest improvement with these new Buds+ is their battery life.

Without the case, the Galaxy Buds+ can give you up to 11 hours of listening time which is almost double that of the original Buds. With the case, that number gets doubled to 22 hours of total listening time which should be enough to get anyone through a day.

This then makes the Galaxy Buds+ an excellent soft-tipped alternative to the Galaxy Buds Live. They have an easy fit with several different tip sizes included in the box, plus wings for more security. If you like the isolated sound of most in-ear headphones, you’ll probably like these.

Samsung UV Sterilizer (with Wireless Charging)

Also included in some bundles is Samsung’s UV Sterilizer. This device is officially priced at RM299 and is a tool that can kill germs on your smartphone. It uses a UV-C light that is said to be able to kill up to 99% of the harmful germs and bacteria including E.coli, Staphylococcus and Candida albicans.

All you need to do is place your phone in the device, close the lid and press the power button. It will take about 10 minutes to disinfect your smartphone, or any other kind of personal item that can fit in it.

What also makes it cool is that this UV Sterilizer also works as a 10W Qi wireless charger. This means that while you sterilise your smartphone. You’ll also be able to charge it, which is neat.

9W Wireless Charger Convertible

Finally, there’s the Wireless Charger Convertible which retails for RM209. This device can wirelessly charge your device up to 9W, and the cool thing about it is that it comes with a detachable kickstand.

This means that the device can either lay flat on your table, or you can prop it up and charge your device upright instead. On top of that, this charger features two charging coils so you can charge your phone in either a landscape or portrait orientation. The second also makes it more convenient for charging smaller accessories, like your Galaxy Buds, upright.

Samsung’s Wireless Charger Convertible is also intelligent. While it can support a maximum power output of 9W, the device can intelligently disable fast wireless charging when it’s bedtime on Galaxy S10 devices or newer. It’ll also dim the LED indicator light so it doesn’t bother you at night.

The most capable Galaxy Note yet?

Samsung’s Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra 5G are the most capable smartphones Samsung has launched yet. They’re powerful tools designed to take your life to the next level. With improved S Pen functionality, Wireless Samsung DeX, and an upgraded camera system, the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra 5G have been built on top of Samsung’s desire for meaningful innovation.
