Xiaomi Malaysia has recently introduced its entry-level Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C that are priced under RM500. Now there’s a new Redmi 9C variant that comes with more RAM and storage.
The Redmi 9C with 3GB RAM and 64GB of storage is officially priced at RM479 in Malaysia. That’s RM50 more than the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model. If you’re interested, the device will be available for pre-order at all authorised Mi Stores from 14th to 21st August 2020.

The Redmi 9C is a budget phone that comes with a 6.53″ HD 720p display and it runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. The phone comes with up to 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. If you need more storage, you can expand further via its microSD card slot.
Unlike the 9A, the Redmi 9C gets a triple-camera setup. It has a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. In front, the tiny notch on the screen houses a 5MP selfie camera.
Powering the device is a large 5,000mAh battery that supports a standard 10W charging via its microUSB port. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and the device also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
