Deal: Get RM300 off a Dyson Supersonic when you trade in your old hair dryer

If you already have your eye on a Dyson Supersonic but are waiting for a little price reduction, you can take advantage of this. From now until the 31st August, you can trade in any hair dryer for an instant rebate worth RM300 towards purchasing a Dyson Supersonic.

You can trade in any hair dryer, new and old. It can also be any brand, and can even be an unusable hair dryer. Once you hand over your old item, you would get a RM300 instant rebate for you to use on a Supersonic.

The Dyson Supersonic comes in two colours: their classic Iron/Red, and their Limited Edition Fuchsia/Nickel. Both of the hair dryers retail at RM1,999. But with the instant rebate, you’d be able to purchase the Supersonic at RM1,699. It’s still pretty pricy for a hair dryer—but you’d still be able to save a little money doing it.

Why is the Dyson Supersonic so expensive?

You’re probably familiar with the Dyson brand. They also make their top notch vacuum cleaners and have a whole range of hair care products like the Airwrap and the Corrale.

The Dyson Supersonic is supported by their patented Air Multiplier technology. It delivers 41 litres of powerful airflow and without heat damage—which is one of the downsides to a regular hair dryer.

It has an on-board intelligent heat control system that works to keep the temperature of the airflow below 150°C. Some conventional hair dryers can reach extreme temperatures, especially when held close to your hair, so you’re basically paying more to have less damage to your tresses.

The hair dryer also comes with a set of attachments. The ‘Gentle Air Dryer’ attachment is great for sensitive scalps and fine hair, their ‘Styling Nozzle’ can help you style hair, the ‘Smoothing Nozzle’ is for a wider airflow, and the ‘Diffuser Nozzle’ is great for curly hair.
