Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G offered for as low as RM99/month on Celcom

Celcom has revealed its pre-order offering for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. The new Galaxy Note flagships are bundled with its Mega postpaid plans which you can sign up with its EasyPhone instalment program. To lower the monthly payment, Celcom is the only telco in Malaysia to offer the Note 20 series on contract up to 30 months.

Celcom EasyPhone

On EasyPhone, the Galaxy Note 20 can be yours from as low as RM99/month with a 30-month contract or RM129/month with a 24-month contract. For the more premium Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it is going for as low as RM129/month on a 30-month contract or RM169/month with a 24-month duration.

With EasyPhone, you have the option to subscribe to Celcom Lightning which provides uncapped high-speed data quota or Celcom Unlimited that offers unlimited quota with capped speeds. Below are the monthly repayments for the respective Celcom Mega postpaid options.

Existing Celcom customers with a tenure of more than 1 year can pick up the device with RM0 upfront payment subject to EasyPhone’s requirements and criteria. Meanwhile, new customers or existing users that are with Celcom for less than a year would have to pay 3 months EasyPhone instalment as an advance payment during sign up.

Normal Contract

If you prefer to get the Note 20 on a traditional contract plan, the Galaxy Note 20 series is only offered with a 24-month contract. The Note 20 5G is going for as low as RM2,198 while the Note 20 Ultra 5G can be yours from RM2,998 on Celcom Mega Lightning XL postpaid.

Do note that you’ll have to pay an upfront payment between RM300 to RM1,200 which will be rebated back to your bill.

For customers that want to get a postpaid plan with unlimited quota, the Note 20 is offered from as low as RM2,798 while the Note 20 Ultra is going for as low as RM3,598 on Mega Unlimited L.

In case you missed it, Celcom has recently upgraded its data quota for its Mega Lightning postpaid plans. The base plan at RM80/month now gets 40GB of data and you could get up to 20GB extra on L and XL Lightning Pass. If you plan on taking up the Mega unlimited plans, do note that video streaming is capped at HD for Unlimited M while Unlimited L lets you stream at Full HD. For everything else, speeds are capped at 5Mbps for Unlimited M and 15Mbps for Unlimited L.

The pre-order is available from now until the 20th August 2020 and you’ll receive a Galaxy Buds Live with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or a Galaxy Buds+ with the Galaxy Note 20. Customers can get their Note 20 devices from 21st August 2020.
