I personally mostly searched for the names of actors in Netflix originals all of last month (and every month before that), but it seemed like I wasn’t searching for the top ten most popular Google searches in July. In fact, two of the most popular Google searches were searches for the new Realme smartphones.
Here’s the full list of the top 10 Google searches in Malaysia for July 2020:
The number one Google search in Malaysia last month were both reviews for the Realme X50 Pro and the Realme Buds Q. Both the Realme’s flagship 5G smartphone and the earphones were launched in early July, which explains why fans flocked online to learn more about the products last month.
Realme’s flagship X50 Pro 5G runs on a Snapdragon 865 processor, and is their most expensive smartphone to date. It costs RM2,999 for the device with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
As for the Realme Buds Q—in a contrast to Realme’s costly new mobile device—it is one of the two new affordable wireless headphones that are priced under RM200. The second headphones are the Realme Buds Air Neo, which costs RM199, while the Buds Q costs RM129.
A less searched Realme phone—but still pretty popular seeing as it’s at the number nine spot in the top ten list—is the Realme C11. The device arrived locally in late June. In a stark contrast to the price of the X50 Pro, the C11 is priced at RM429, which comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage.
We’ve posted more information about the Realme X50 Pro 5G, the Realme C11, and the Realme Buds Q. You can also shop for them here on Shopee and here on Lazada.
