Oppo Reno 4 Malaysia launch is happening on 3rd August

The Oppo Reno 4 series is coming to Malaysia very soon. This is the Chinese smartphone maker’s latest mid-range smartphone and it will come with a display that offers a high refresh rate.

According to Oppo Malaysia, the Reno 4 series will be unveiled locally on the 3rd of August at 6.30pm. The event will be streamed live on their social channels including Facebook and YouTube.

If you want to be among the first to get updated on the Reno 4 series, Oppo Malaysia is currently offering a registration of interest on their website. Those that sign up will get to receive additional freebies worth RM229 when they pre-order a Reno 4 series device.

At the moment, Oppo has confirmed that it will feature a 90Hz display that comes with dual-curved edges. The Reno 4 Pro gets a quad-camera setup which is said to feature a 48MP main camera. For selfies, the Pro model gets a single selfie punch-hole camera. The same device is also teased on Oppo India’s website.

In terms of internal hardware, the Reno 4 Pro is speculated to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and comes with a 4,000mAh battery. It is also rumoured that it might support 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging.

In Indonesia, there’s also the standard Reno 4 model that appears to come with a triple-camera setup for the rear and a dual-selfie-camera setup on the front. The Reno 4 series will be launched in India on the 31st of July while the Indonesian launch is taking place next month.

The Oppo Reno 4 series was launched in China last month, but it is likely that Oppo is releasing a different device for the global market.
