Samsung is still going strong when it comes to tablets. A few months ago, they had introduced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and now the Korean brand is about to introduce its new Galaxy Tab S7 which will succeed the current Galaxy Tab S6.
Serial leakster Evan Blass has dropped two leaked product photos of the device on his Patreon account which provides a clear view of the upcoming flagship Android tablet. Similar to the current Tab, it features thin bezels with a symmetrical look and you can turn it into a productivity device with the added keyboard and S Pen stylus.
From what we can see, the Galaxy Tab S7 has a new keyboard that still connects via Pogo connectors. The overall exterior with its dark grey finish gives it an industrial look which is somewhat similar to the current generation iPad Pro.
Another prolific leakster @OnLeaks has also dropped more details on the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet via PigTou. Apparently, Samsung could be following Apple’s footsteps by offering two sizes, the S7 and the S7+. The Galaxy Tab S7 is said to come with an 11″ screen while the larger S7+ is speculated to come with a 12.4″ display.
Both devices will get a slim profile of 5.7mm but it is said to be 6.9mm if you include the camera bump. In the camera department, it gets a dual-camera setup and there’s a magnetic slot at the rear which allows you to attach or charge the S Pen stylus just like the current Tab S6. Since this is a flagship tablet, it is likely to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with the option to support 5G.
So far no details yet on its actual launch but we believe it is likely to be after the Galaxy Note 20 that’s scheduled to take place on the 5th of August 2020. The current Galaxy Tab S6 is officially priced at RM3,099 with 128GB of storage, so do expect the new model to be priced above RM3,000 without the keyboard.
