Xiaomi to launch at least 4 new devices including the Mi TV Stick on 15 July

Xiaomi is having a global launch event next week to unveil its latest ecosystem products. The event will be streamed live across its social channels and it’s happening on the 15th of July at 8:00pm Malaysian Time.

At the moment, Xiaomi has not mentioned specifically what they are launching next week. However, based on the teaser image which contains a number of clues embedded in its “2020” illustration, we expect at least 4 new products that will be launched for the global market. The first item in the first “2” appears to be the new Mi Electric Scooter Pro. This is followed by a fitness band which is likely to be the global variant of the Mi Band 5.

Next, we can see what appears to be a smartphone that has a quad-camera setup along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The layout seems to match the Redmi 9 that was quietly released in Malaysia last month and it comes with a 6.53″ Full HD+ display and a large 5,020mAhbattery. The Redmi 9 is officially priced from RM499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and RM599 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version. Right below it appears to be an IoT product with a sensor which we have no idea what it is.

On the final “0”, we can see a TV with a power and volume rocker that has an exposed HDMI-looking connector head. This seems to hint the Mi TV stick that was first teased in May. The Mi TV stick is an Android TV-powered HDMI dongle that comes with a Bluetooth remote. From a recent leak, it appears to come in two versions, 4K and Full HD.

All shall be revealed next week, so stay tuned to us for the latest updates.
