To help consumers get the best deals for domestic travel, AirAsia has announced a new Snap offer, which allows you to book flight + hotel combos hassle-free. For a limited time, you can Snap a trip from as low as RM139 per person on a twin-sharing basis from Kuala Lumpur to Penang (Le Embassy Hotel), as low as RM199 from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur (The Chow Kit – Ormond Hotel) and as low as RM299 from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan (Sabah Hotel).

They are currently running a sale for Snap which is available from 16th until 21st June 2020 for travel between 15th July to 30th November 2020. You may book by selecting the “Snap” tab on AirAsia.com or on the AirAsia mobile app.

CEO of AirAsia.com, Karen Chan said “We are excited to be partnering with local hotels for SNAP, fly and stay, it’s the new free-and-easy way to travel. No more checking 10 sites to compare prices, SNAP is a hassle-free, best-price guaranteed way of booking flight and hotel in just a few clicks.”

“This is very much in line with AirAsia’s efforts to support the travel industry, which has been badly affected by the pandemic. AirAsia is happy to play our part in providing the domestic tourism sector with a much-needed boost with this campaign featuring unbeatable flight + hotel combo. So, SNAP away for your next trip with us,” she added.

The Snap sale covers hotels ranging from 3-5 stars and this includes The Chow Kit – An Ormond Hotel, MoMo’s Kuala Lumpur, Tune Hotels, Lexis Port Dickson, Vouk Hotel Suites and more. AirAsia is also inviting local hotels to partner with them for Snap by reaching out to them via an online form.

When we try to search for flights + hotel via Snap, it appears that AirAsia.com has quite an extensive selection. For a 2 night trip from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, we managed to find a combo for as low as RM402.04 all-in (excluding checked luggage and meals) at Tune Hotels 1Borneo for a single traveller. You can also find more premium hotel options such as Hyatt Regency and Le Meridian for RM979 all-in.

For those heading to KL from Kuching, a 3-night stay for a solo trip would cost RM495.40 all-in (excluding checked luggage and meals) at Momo’s Kuala Lumpur, RM864.96 at ANSA Kuala Lumpur, RM1,041.44 at Impiana KLCC and RM1,134.78 at Aloft KL Sentral.

If you’re planning a trip for two from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, you can currently get flights and hotel stay for 2 nights at Tune Hotel Georgetown for as low as RM168 all-in (excluding checked luggage and meals). This is equivalent to RM84 per person which is a steal. Flights and a 2-night stay at Vouk Hotel Suites Penang would cost RM307.60 all-in and at Olive Tree Hotel at RM492.02 all-in.
