Samsung offers The Sero TV for free when you buy an 8K QLED Smart TV

If you’re looking to buy a brand new 8K Smart TV, you can get additional freebies along with it during Samsung’s Raya campaign. One of the freebies includes The Sero, one of Samsung’s newest ‘lifestyle TVs’ that allows you to connect it with mobile devices to enjoy mobile content with a big screen, in any display orientation—kind of like a big phone. The promotion is still available now until 30th June 2020.

The offer comes after the arrival of Samsung’s 2020 QLED TVs —along with the arrival of The Sero, The Frame, and The Serif TVs. I’ve previously written about Samsung’s new lifestyle TVs, but in early April, Malaysian prices weren’t announced yet.

While you can find prices for The Sero, The Frame and The Serif in Samsung Malaysia’s website, Samsung’s current list of promotions are worth looking through in case you’re already shopping for a new TV.

If you purchase one of its QLED 8K Smart TVs, you’ll get a complimentary 43″ The Sero TV and Sero Wheel worth RM7,298. Samsung’s new 8K Smart TVs start from RM29,999 for the 65″ Q950TS and 75″ Q800T, and it goes all the way up to RM64,999 for the 85″ Q950TS.

Here’s the list of promos, which also includes promotions for Samsung Soundbars:

The 2020 QLED TVs cost that much not just because of their bigger screens, but Samsung claims that you’ll “feel the full power of the 8K resolution, regardless of the original source’s quality” due to their “state-of-the-art Quantum Processor”. They also have Object Tracking Sound+ (OTS+), where their built in speakers give you a realistic, three-dimensional sound experience.

They also have Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) and Adaptive Sound+, which identifies and analyses surroundings and potentially distracting noises. The TVs then deliver the optimum sound for the current environment.
