After releasing the Galaxy S20 Ultra in Cloud White, Samsung Malaysia has introduced a new vibrant colour option for the Galaxy S20+. The new option is called Aura Red and it’s the same colour that as the “Jennie Red edition” in South Korea.
The Galaxy 20+ Aura Red is now available on the Samsung Malaysia online store and it’s going for RM3,999. The specs remain unchanged and it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. Take note that the Galaxy S20+ in Malaysia is a 4G LTE model. 5G support is only offered with the more expensive Galaxy S20 Ultra.
To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ comes with a 6.7″ Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate (in Full HD+) and it runs on an Exynos 990 processor. For taking pictures, the device has a 12MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. There’s also a 3D ToF camera and the device can record 8K videos at 24fps. For selfies, it comes with a 10MP punch-hole camera that supports 4K videos.
Powering the S20+ is a 4,500mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. The device also gets stereo speakers, IP68 dust and water resistance as well as Samsung Pay support.
Unfortunately, Samsung Malaysia hasn’t released the Galaxy Buds+ in Red. Just recently, they have added a new Blue colour option which joins its existing Black and White variants.
