Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with S Pen is coming to Malaysia soon, priced at RM1,699

Samsung Malaysia has announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, a more affordable variant of the Galaxy Tab S6. Being a “Lite” model, it costs almost half the price of their current flagship tablet and it still comes with an S Pen included.

According to Samsung, the Tab S6 Lite will be coming to Malaysia soon with a retail price of RM1,699. It will be offered in two colour options – Oxford Gray and Angora Blue. Do note that this is the WiFi-only version, so it doesn’t support 4G LTE connectivity.

Although Samsung has yet to reveal its actual availability, the Korean brand has teased that a special promo will be offered with the new tablet. According to the product page, the tablet will come with four months of free subscription for YouTube Premium.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with a 10.4″ Full HD+ display with a 2000×1200 pixels resolution in a 5:3 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on an Exynos 9611 processor which is the same unit that’s powering the Galaxy A51. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card.

For an immersive sound experience, it features dual speakers tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos enhancement. Instead of a dual-camera setup like the Galaxy Tab S6, it has a single 8MP main camera at the back and a 5MP front camera for selfies or video conferencing.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a 7,040mAh battery that is rated to last up to 13 hours of video playback and it supports adaptive fast charging via USB-C. Also included is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 with One UI 2 skin on top.
